A large Markdown file feels slow
Try Source mode and repeat the same edit. Note whether the delay starts while opening, typing, searching, or rendering the preview. Record the file size and application version. If a small copy works, report that difference; a short representative sample is more useful than sending a private document.
A conversion is empty or hard to read
Check whether the PDF contains selectable text or scanned pages. Review the OCR result for scanned sources. Complex columns, slide layouts, and spreadsheet structure may need manual correction. Keep the source, inspect the individual result message, and try a smaller representative file.
A result will not open
Open its containing folder and confirm the output exists and has the expected extension. Check that the operating system has an application for that format. An HTML conversion should open the generated HTML file, while a PDF source remains unchanged.
A publishing request timed out
Check the destination's drafts, posts, or receiver logs before retrying. A network timeout does not prove that the remote operation failed. Keep the job ID and per-destination status; do not create another job merely to bypass an uncertain result.
Trial or Pro access is unavailable
Check the account used for the purchase and the current license status. Activation and real delivery need a working connection to the license service. A local cache does not prove fresh online authorization. Writer and Converter remain available while you resolve access.
Send a useful support request
- Application version and operating system.
- The steps you took and the result you expected.
- The exact visible error, file format and approximate size, or affected destination and job ID.
- A small non-sensitive sample or cropped screenshot, if it helps reproduce the issue.
